1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Better Grammar for Adults ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. Description of the App

Better Grammar for Adults is a grammar practice application available on iOS, Android, macOS, and the web. It helps users improve their English grammar through interactive practice sessions across three exercise modes (multiple choice, spot-the-error, and fix-the-sentence) and supports US, British, and Australian English conventions.

3. Use of the App

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial grammar practice. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or its supporting infrastructure.

4. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: your data stays on your device, and we don't collect personal information. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details.

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase ("Full Curriculum Unlock") for the complete grammar curriculum. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.

• Purchases are non-transferable between platforms.
• For refund requests, please contact Apple or Google directly through their standard processes.
• The App may send the purchase token issued by Apple or Google to our receipt-validation server to verify the transaction. No personal information is included beyond what is required to verify the purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in the App are the property of Benjamin Kaiser or used under license. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• Every grammar rule's explanation or exercise is universally agreed upon by all style guides — English grammar is descriptive as much as prescriptive, and reasonable authorities sometimes differ.
• Your locally stored progress data will persist through device changes, OS updates, or app reinstallation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benjamin Kaiser shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data stored on your device.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without notice.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
