Your progress and preferences — including selected word lists, known words, mastered words, practice bank, accuracy statistics, spelling variant, first language, and settings — are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our server.
If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information will be lost.
Better Spelling for ESL is designed to work offline and does not require an account. We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, progress data, or device identifiers.
The app uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to read words aloud. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted by us.
The app offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock all word lists, levels, and words. All payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Store). We do not receive, process, or store payment or billing information.
This app is intended for English learners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
