Better Spelling for ESL is a listening-and-spelling practice application for English learners. It helps users improve spelling through text-to-speech pronunciation, instant feedback, translations, IPA pronunciation, context sentences, and spaced repetition.
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial spelling practice. You agree not to:
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: your progress is stored locally on your device, the app works offline, and we don't collect personal information.
The App includes hand-picked English spelling word lists, translations, hints, pronunciation information, and example sentences. The content is provided for learning and practice and may be updated over time.
The App offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock all premium word lists, levels, and words. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their terms and refund policies.
All content, design, and code in the App are the property of Benjamin Kaiser or used under license. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benjamin Kaiser shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes loss of data stored on your device.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without notice.
